Great advice, friendly people, and lots of frogs!
Alfonso still holding his own but very sick. I was able to speak with an amphibian vet who thinks, by the description, it is a metabolic disease and, as you say, nothing for us to do. I am taking Alfonso to the local vet to have him helped on his way to froggy heaven. The kindest thing to do for such a stoic little fellow. He will be missed... Regards and many thanks again.
I am so sorry, but I fear by the time I have read this and responded to it, that your frog is now in the halls of Valhalla. Even if I read this sooner, it would not have mattered. When a frog gets to that point there is nothing any of us can do, but try to figure out what happened, which is easier said then done. Again I am so sorry.
