Hi Ribbity!
Thanks for writing.. Sorry I had not checked my profile in the last days..
Water in my tank is about 10 cm deep, with lots of stones and driftwood. Toads can always touch the bottom. The land area is basically a half circle of stones and wood filled with clay balls, covered with a mix of soil and peat, with moss and sphagnum moss in the moister areas, plus some ferns, Cyperus and Selaginella. The big fern is Lecanopteris growing epiphite. In the water area floating plants are Hydrocharis morsus ranae, a great plant with fast growth (a leaf a day..). Then I have Hydrocotyle leucocephala, Staurogyne (both able to grow on land also), Anubias, Eleocharis acicularis, Lilaeopsis and Riccia fluitans.
Sort of Jungle, I know.. But toads seem to appreciate!
