Great advice, friendly people, and lots of frogs!
Hey Tony! when you were breeding your red eyes how long and many times a day would you mist the red eyes tank. thanks!
That depends on how long you want to wait for them. I would suggest letting me keep them for at least a month to get some size on them before shipping, they handle it much better that way. I will be listing well-started juveniles at $25.
How big do you think the babies will be? how much are you selling them for? Im definetly interested.
My normal red eyes are all wild caught from Nicaragua, 2008 and 2010 imports. The xanthic male is from Deb Salgado in FL, and the albinos are from LLL, not sure who bred them. If you are looking for red eyes I should have some CB normal babies in the next week or two, my tads are getting ready to leave the water, Mike Novy is also a great source if you want them sooner than mine will be ready.
Hey Tony were did you get your red eyes from? Are they captive born?
Thanks Tony!
I have a rubber tree (Ficus elastica), a large Peperomia, and pothos in the 18 x 18 x 24. I am currently using it to house my adult males, but I did have a female in there a few months ago and they spontaneously bred during a big rainstorm. For more reliable breeding you will need to use a rainchamber.
Hey Tony! I saw your red eyed tank and thought it looked so cool! What types of plants do you have in there? Oh and how did they start breeding in the tank? Is that their perament tank or not? Is the demisions a 18x18x24 Thanks!
Hey Tony What size tank do you keep your red eyes in? Thanks!
I feed off about 20,000 crickets per month plus fruit flies and roaches. All of my frogs are in my albums.
