Great advice, friendly people, and lots of frogs!
Niels D- I just looooove your new babies! They look awesome. I have been MIA for awhile so I just saw them so congrats. Hope your allergies dont start acting up or I might have to fly to the Netherlands to take them off your hands (:
Click on Forum and scroll down to Other Animals then click on Other Pets...It is the second thread I think !
That gives another dimention to the hobby. It's not only a challenge finding the animals you like, you also have to find a solution to obtain them. It's not that we don't have a lot of expo's, but finding a stand with amphibians is the challenge here. Mostly you see bearded dragons (Yet another colour variation!) and snakes (a lot of guttata). That's why Hamm is popular for all amphibian enthusiasts. Good luck with those nice animals you've got there. Sorry for the fact I'm so curious about Swedish expo's, but reading the stories from herplovers in other European countries allways makes me wonder how they get their animals and what's for sale over there. Thanks for the reply!
I want to answer your question, but not derail much from the OP, so I'll answer here instead: We do have some expos, but not alot. I would say about 5 or so each year, where only one is quite big (but even close to Hamm). But they're all in the south part of the contry, where the closest one is 650 km from me. The biggest one is about 1300 km from me.
