Thanks!! I just updated my tank this evening and it looks really neat. The final touches will be in the morning. Coincidentally, I purchased a new camcorder last week hehe..

Hmmm, sounds like they're becoming lazy adults......reminds me of my juvenile Wood frog (he's/she's starting to mature into adulthood and is becoming a lazy little piggo, just like my adult Wood frogs lol) It will be good for your growing frogs to have a bigger housing area and I'm sure they will enjoy it!
Lots of questions.....I totally uderstand lol

Hey! Got one of my tadpoles to "froglet" status! It came so quick today - I checked on them before leaving to pick up my son at school and 1 hour later, one of the right legs popped. Then I checked on it again before bedtime and the other one popped! I plan to order flies from joshsfrogs.com. Have you tried crickets yet? I'm also having trouble finding pinheads locally. At least the temps next week should be down in the 80s for us in Atlanta.

Hey, thanks for the link to your pictures. You did a nice job of photographing . As far as tips for photographing frogs....I only have a digital camera and alot of times my pictures don't come out as clear as I'd like. And by the time I get a good picture, the frog has already moved! So the best advice I have on photographing frogs is .....patience lololol .

I was going to raise tadpoles once, but didn't get the chance. I'm sure it is difficult to photogragh them, because they are fast little swimmers . A least you got some fantastic pictures as opposed to none, lol. I also bet it was alot of work raising them. Did you have to feed them boiled cabbage?

In response to your picture comment: So I captured my Wood frogs--which are only one of the species of frogs here in Alaska--from around the area in which I live. To keep the frogs from stress, I wanted to keep their vivarium setup as close to their habitat as possible. So I gathered some plants from the site in which I captured the frogs. Some of the plants I gathered include arctic moss; bearberry, cranberry, and blueberry plants (which is most of the plants you see mixed in the picture), several different types of grass, Labrador tea plants, and a few lichens. The frogs really like the set up .
