In your article below you refer to two other articles, quotes below the title. Where can I find them?
Poison Dart Frog tadpole care, feeding/food

The water conditions, additives, leaves, food, etc. for all of this is covered in the first post of this thread, so be sure to read that first.

Incidentally, as soon as the froglets have just a nubbin where their tail was, I transfer them to a mini frog enclosure (not described in this thread).
  4. hey john what is the frog in your avatar pic and what is its minimum terrarium size be.

hello john, i have 2 fire belly toads, 1 male and one female (they frequently "mount each other, yes the female mounts the male and the male mounts the female) and i am setting up a new tank with water and an island, but how deep should the water be so they dont breed? (i dont want anymore of these lil buggers) thanks for the help

John if at all possible could you lower the time-delay between posting new comments in the photo albums? It's set to make me wait 1.5 minutes between each photo comment and sometimes it seems like a long time. Thanks for considering.

Hello John, I have a question for you? I have a albino Bullfrog, I have never had a bullfrog. Should he have UV or not? Also is it okay to put a black light above his tank at night to watch him? I tried feeding him nightcrawlers but he doesn't seem to like them. So I'm feeding him crickets. He is about the size of a silver dollar. I have only had him a month. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    John,

I live in north Georgia. We just recently saw a few grey tree frogs on our deck and then within a few days, frog eggs had been laid in the dishes under some plants we had recently watered. Because this water would get too hot and is not all that deep, we have transferred them to a bucket and they are under a shade tree. After one day of moving them, we already see VERY small tadpoles.

I don't really want to get into raising several dozen frogs. Do you think I could put these tadpoles in a large birdbath I have and just kind of keep an eye on them, or will the birds eat them. I just want them to go back to the wild, but I am not sure how to do this.

Do you think I could raise them just to frogs in an aquarium and then let them go in the woods as soon as they are "Frogs?" Should I find a small stream with a pool and put them in there?

Your advice would be greatly appreciated. BTW, my wife and I had a great time no a visit to Ireland - a great place.

    Bill
