  1. No, Not w/ heating ; but possibly with humidity?
I'm at 50 % plus humidity with 1/2 the bottom covered w/ water. ( 4" of heated water)
My front screen is covered w/ glass as follows:
    5 inches on the top
    8 inches open screen
the remainder glass on he bottom

    Hope this makes sense
    Lynn
  2. Autumn,
Take a peak at the last post I made on my "vertical conversion of a critter keeper".
Keep in mind, I'm misting with a dual Mist king head every3 hours for 8- 12 seconds each time.
The humidity is close to where it should be -- for red eyes, anyway.
The temp needs adjustments. My basement is 65-67 degrees F.
I have to add heat- because it is too cold.
Just thought you might find this information helpful on how a 100% water bottom will effect the settings for whites?
    Lynn
  3. Hi Autumn,
No leaks. Thank goodness. I have 4" water in the back 1/2 of the bottom for a week now.
The front half will be used for a feeding area where I put a 2 inch pc of plexi , just behind the door so crickets can not escape through the lower L hand side. I used glass on the inside of the screen door. I need heat near the enclosure in the winter months. So, I was afraid plexi would warp. Actually , the glass hepled it to slide better !
  4. Thank You !!

Experiment Wood Frog Vocalizations
By Autumn

Quawk quawk! Every May to April here in Fairbanks, Alaska you can hear the melodic sounds of the vocalizing male Wood frogs (Rana sylvatica). It’s one of the sure signs that spring is here and that summer is upon us. Despite the fact that
