Conversation Between FrogFever and reptile maniac

  1. the best you can do is keep your frogs separate (male/female) an put them together only in breeding season, keep them dry some months and then realy raine (sorry if my English is bad)
  2. Congratulations on the find! I've been trying for a good while now myself and have not been blessed with any eggs yet. I have 4 adult red eyes... 2 male, 2 female. I've seen them in amplexus numerous times in their rainchamber but they've never laid any eggs. I thought the females were getting stressed out by having a frog on their back every other night, so I took them out and put them in their dry season cages again... I'm just wondering what advice you could give me to induce pregnancy in the females...
Feed them like crazy and then watch for an enlarged belly? They are big now, but how do I tell the difference between them being full versus being pregnant?
Any info would be a tremendous help to me. Thanks!
