    Did your frog ever heal? Something similar just happened to my acf. I have a male and female albino acf. They are 6 years old and very healthy. Tonight I went to clean their aquarium and the male jumped into the sink. It was about a 6 inch jump. I got him carefully back in the aquarium and noticed right above the left eye the skin and area is red. I am so upset. Will he be ok???

ACF red eye :(

My African Clawed Frog was swimming around the other day & bumped his eye off a rock i have in his aquarium. It started bleeding right away but stopped within seconds. Then i noticed under what i guess is a eyelid, his eye turned black with some blood in it. Hes still swimming around like nothing ever happened. I understand ACF are excellent healers. & can heal themselves. However, will this go back to normal completely? I'd hate to see my frog half blind!

African Clawed Frog Hiccuping?

Hello, my names Emilee. I have had a Aquatic African Clawed Frog for about 6 years now. I just recently upgraded him from a 10 Gallon to a 20 gallon tank on tuesday. He hasnt ate since, with the exception of today. i gave him some mini krill. (what he usually eats) and right after he got done i noticed a burping/hiccuping type of sound and he would release bubble. ( remembering hes aquatic) Is this normal?
