Hi Easternwolf. I dont keep Whites Tree Frog. I would suggest starting a new thread so that people that do keep Whites Tree Frog can help you. I think you may have too much lighting going on in there which could be causing the drying out. Wood does tend to mould if it sitting on a damp area. Some moulds how ever are ok for frogs but I just scrub the mould off when it develops. Im not sure what kind of enclosure you have but if its like an Exo-terra with the mesh on the top then try partially covering it to get the humidity up. Sorry I cant be of more help but I do suggest starting a thread.
  2. I'm trying to find my way around this site. I have a White's Tree FrogI have a question about the substrate. The humidity in my terrarium is lowwer than what it should be. I have rocks for the bottom, then coconut fibre and then I have put moss on top. The moss is drying up and I found mold on a hard wood branch I just recently bought. Does anyone have suggestions on what I can do to get the humidity up? I spray quite a few times a day and I just added a compact lamp with repti glo light and have a fluker's light with the infrared light. Would these lights together be causing more heat and I need more substrate and more spraying. I have fake plants only. I am unable to find a pothos that hasn't been sprayed with fertilizers or chemicals. I would prefer a more natural environment. Any replies would be greatly appreciated. You people have been great at answering my questions and thanks again for the ideas on feeding them in a dish! Cheers!
  3. Hi bshmerlie,

Thanks for your message. I like the idea with the dish. He seems to sit in his log for a while and I put the dish in front of him last night and it worked.
