????North American Wood Frog (TOXIN EXCREETION) ????

My son recently caught a nice wood frog. While researching this little guy we read that they produce a toxin when they feel endangered. I have not been able to find any other info on this. Any help would be great. I will make sure he does not handle the frog in the meantime. Thank You
