I am a Herpetologist specialising in Batrachology (Amphibians) and also a Conservationist, Researcher, Journalist and Photographer that spends most of his time in Madagascar.
I am incredibly passionate about the species of anura found upon the island of Madagascar with a further focus on the Mantella genus, otherwise known as the "Malagasy Poison Frogs". I keep and breed fourteen members of the genus out of sixteen with approximately 700+ specimens, which I monitor closely for data collection which I publish through various social media and publications.
"Madagascar is an unrepeatable experiment, a set of animals and plants evolving in isolation for over 60 million years. We're still trying to unravel its mysteries. How tragic it would be if we lost it before we even understood it." — David Attenborough
