Welcome to the Forum! I raised an American Bullfrog from tadpole myself, and it was fascinating to watch. Poe is growing into a very beautiful frog who definitely likes her food. Great to have you here!

A picture of the slime would be helpful. However, young froglets constantly shed as they grow at a fast rate. Doing this in the water eases the process and can create a slime. I noticed with mine, the absorption of the tail was a gooey process and required cleanup daily. Now that she is bigger, there seems to be less mess, though I still, out of habit, change her water dish daily.

Welcome. It's good to have you here. Not sure if you are aware of this, but bullfrog tads can take two years to morph out if the water is cooler. Do yours have legs yet?
