    Hello everyone,

My name's Colleen, I'm in the Southeast, (might be an Auburn fan. ) and have a 3 year old overly obsessed with frogs. We recently had a tadpole outbreak in our unkept swimming pool and I came here looking for answers on what the heck to do with them. I'm going to take a few pictures and post in the next few days to get some identification and find out how to handle them. I'd guess we have around 50 tadpoles. We have a pond with a few bullfrogs and a few other frogs I haven't identified and I think they are tadpoles from one of the non-bullfrogs. I'm hoping so at least since I've read tadpole to frog for a bullfrog can be 2-3 years! Anyway, I'll post more information when i start a thread if I can't find one that will help, although I imagine you already have someone on here wondering what the heck to do with a ton of unexpected tadpoles.

    Welcome aboard!
If you keep the water above 70F Bullfrog tads will morph in a few months. Post some pics and someone will attempt to identify it for you!

Welcome. I'd love to have a pond with bullfrogs nearby. The best we can do in our neighborhood are Southern Toads and Green Treefrogs, which is okay too.
