American Bullfrog and Spit ?

Pictures in this case would help us alot. Does your little frog have any puncture wounds or scratches from the cat? If not, then I am sure your bullfrog will be fine. Froglets will shed constantly, so the slime is not anything to worry about. Again, though, pictures would be helpful to make sure this is normal and not a sign that something is wrong. Be careful with a tank that size: my American bullfrog is only 2 1/2" long and is kept in a 10 gallon for the time being. That way, I can ensure she is finding and eating food and I can monitor her growth and health without having to search forever to find her. Are you gutloading and dusting your crickets with calcium and vitamins on alternate days?

woah woah woah . gut loading ? dusting ?? I never read anything about that also there are no claw marks or anything that looks like that cat did. There are 3 very small babyblue dots on it that i just noticed today and as for pictures the frog wont let me take them . It just looks like a jellyfish is just all over the little frog

Any frogs and toads, but especially young ones, kept in captivity need to be provided with gutloaded food items that are dusted with calcium (to prevent bone deficiences that could cause malformed limbs and spines) and vitamins (Vitamin A is essential to growing frogs). This may sound complicated, but you can easily buy cricket gutload at a petstore and add carrots and green leafy veggies for them and voila-gutloaded. Calcium and vitamin supplements can also be purchased at a petstore and applied lightly to your crickets before feeding. I follow a 2-1 dusting schedule: 2 days in a row of calcium, followed by 1 day of vitamins. Blue dots? Interesting. My bullfrog hates being out in the open, but I have managed to catch her and put her in a glass bowl to take pics of. I included a few-does your frog look like this? Mine does not have blue spots on it though. Is there a way to take a pic of just the slime floating in the water? I might be able to tell if it's from your frog molting or not. Oh, and just to let you know-Bullfrogs will eat each other. If you have your two together, it might be a good idea to separate them before that happens.

thats how mine frog looks when its out of the water but when its in water it looks as if the frog is surrounded by a ghost .

I do have two Bullfrogs , 1 is fully formed and the other is still a little kid in the tadpole tank LOL with only back legs , didnt grow as fast as its sibling

Yours does look healthy, so I would have to say that more than likely, he is just molting lots, which is good. Means growth. I have three African Giant bullfrogs, and when my biggest male molts, it looks like someone with a cold blew their nose in the water!! Bleh-really gross cleaning that out let me tell you. I can't tell what that yellow bump is-I would keep an eye on it and if you notice a change, it might mean something. Otherwise, your little frog looks great.
