    Default Timers

Is there a timer that I could plug my repti-fogger into that I could set to go off periodically throughout the day? I mist my Whites' tank in the morning before I leave for work but lately when I check on them during my lunch break, it's dropped into the high 40's. Just trying to figure out how to keep the humidity up while I'm away from them.

i have everything on timers including foggers, currently my foggers are on for 15 min every 3 hours, that helps somewhat to maintain humidity of 75-80% but planning on getting hydrotherm - this one works wonders with reptifogger and will maintain constant level of humidity. if only it could cost a little less

Lija, if you don't mind me asking, where did you get your timer and what brand is it?

You want the Zoo Med HrygoTherm. It is designed to go with the fogger. I've had mine over a year and it works great! I don't have to worry about my frogs drying out while I'm at work. :-)

weird, i can swear i replied....

anyway, Grif is right - zoomed hydrotherm works wonders with reptifogger and is on my very much want list if only it could cost less, here in canada the lowest i could find was 90$+ tax. Grif - can you use one for a few tanks?

as for brands - any brand really, home hepot, any home reno store will have bunch of different ones in their lightening section, by extension cords, etc. I like mechanical ones vs digital, the last digital i got is going back to the store, it can do 5 min increments, but goes only for 6 programs, so doesn't work if you need it to go on every hour or so. mechanical ones from the home reno stores usually cheap ( 4-5-6$), but have 30 min range - works for lights, things like that, for a fogger i got exo terra, it can go in 15 min increments, so I have it on for 15 min every 3 hours, work ok, not perfect, i would rather have it on for 10 or 5 min every 2 hours, as humidity drops in between, not too bad though.
