Does a full moon affect our frogs? The last 2 full moons now, I noticed my male gray tree frog and my male spring peeper both were very active callers. Is this a coincidence? Last month I thought it was because of a storm that moved through, this month the weather was completely different though. Normally they chirp a few times a day/night. During the full moon they are chirping nonstop. Has anyone else made this observation? Any idea WHY that would happen?

Re: Does a full moon affect our frogs? When I worked in a dog grooming shop, I most definitely noticed a change in the dogs' behaviors when there was a full moon. Even working at the office, I swear even people are crazier during a full moon! I wasnt sure if anyone else had noticed it in their frogs too though.
