I have this frog in my garden. Does anyone know what it is? The back is rather undistinctive, but the belly is white with almost black spots.

Thanks. It says on the web that toads walk rather than jump, and this one definitely jumped as you can see on the picture, so that confused me into thinking it must be a frog.
Toads can jump as well.

Common Toads most definitely hop. I used to catch them in Bristol when I lived there for a few years.

Certainly a common toad Bufo bufo, they can jump if they need to.
