I had just recently taken some tadpoles out of my pool to try to save them so we can finally open it. We have to save them because we put bug killer on our yard and we think we killed the adult frogs or they left because lack of feed, but we haven't heard them for a couple of weeks. I had built a "frog aquarium" for them and I don't really know what to feed them between the tadpole and frog stage (frog-let). I have tried multiple things and they aren't taking to it so they die... The catch is the frogs are the size of a tic-tac so I need something small enough for them to eat. Is there something we did wrong when moving them from the top of the pool cover to the habitat? We dechlorinated the water first and have plenty of things they can crawl out of the water onto. I hope someone can give us some tips. Thanks for your time!

the tadpoles seem to be feeding well, now how about the little frogs between the tadpole and big enough to eat cricket stage? Or do I just order very small crickets?
When the drop their tails start giving them very small (pinhead) crickets or other food that looks big enough to fit in their mouths. Rule of thumb: If it looks bigger than the mouth then it's probably too big for the frog to eat
