Small critter cage...

    Default Small critter cage...

    ok i have a small critter cage full of crickets and its about time i cleaned it, only problem is how do i get all the crickets out to clean the critter cage? should i try and get all of them in the tubes or should i just dump them somewhere?

    I would put the tubes in the critter keeper, (for about 5-10 minutes), let them all climb in there, and then dump them into another container. Do this several times or until you get all the crickets out of the keeper. Somebody here on the forum, I can't remeber who, said that a hand held vacuum works wonders for transporting crickets as well.

    I've had to the past take each cricket out one by one, and belive me it's not fun. :P

    imma just tilt the critter cage into a bag wait for them all to jump in the small bag and then just pinch the bag on a drawer or door or something so they won't get out while i clean the cage
