Rita, that's awful! My goodness. What a story.... Now tell her because of the emotional scars you need 5 Phyllobates terribilis "Orange", a new tank for them, and a Mist King.

Thank you Eric.
If it has only been a couple of days I'm sure they're around the house somewhere (alive hopefully) and if there are bugs in your house then they may have eaten something. I had a monarch butterfly chrysalis in my room last year and when I got home it had hatched but I couldn't find it anywhere. A week later while trying to sleep I heard a rustling noise and for a week it had been behind my tv. Unfortunately it had a bent wing so I kept it alive and took it outside for small flights and one day during a flight it just took off without any problems and flew over the hill. That made me really happy.
The moral of the story don't give up. Fae DON"T GIVE UP.

Hehe artes! Sure, I'll mail one to you..! LOLI'm definitely going to ask for another frog. But maybe not right now as I am still trying to get my current enclosures perfect for the many frogs I already have.
Yeah it's been more than a few days, I am sure my old ones, who were very old and dear to me, are dried up and shriveled somewhere.I HATE finding dead frogs in the house! Even if they came from outside. And these happened to be precious to me. I had them for over 5 years (which is a very long life for a FBT, I think) and they were all still very healthy.
But, at least she replaced them, so I have some new guys to get to know, and looking forward to them living a very long happy life.

As much as you look at them l know you sure u noticed. I have 7 and can tell them apart even by their toes. I would have rather her waited for me to pick new ones. Theres one a petsmart in sj thats almost 4 in!
If its only been a few days, maybe do a quick check around just in case. If your house is humid, there's always a -small- chance someone is still ok. Animals can survive some really random stuff.
If not, 5 years is a great life for firebellies, and I know they were happy (and hoppy!) with you.
