I brought him home about 4 days ago and alread he has settled in and been eating crickes. a few questions i have about him are is it normal for me to be tweezer feeding him fish and is it bollocks that he will not regress down the food chain of food from fish to crickets? someone at my work told me that and i dont believe em. He has an intresting bark and croak. Although i have only had to provoke him to croak... Will there be a time that he will croak on his own? is there a sound wav i can loop to make him mor comfortable? if anyone has anymore advice, information or any suggestions on his habbitat that would be of such a help. The Habitat i have him in is a 15 gallon tank with a mat heater on the side that keeps it at a fair 75 in there, has two soaking bowls and the humidity is pretty high. hope to hear from you guys soon.
Thomas.

I put live plants in my habitat and my pacman frog seems to really appreciate them. He likes to burrow down in the shade of the Pothos leaves. It looks really nice too. I have areas of shallow substrate that build up to mounds around the plant pots (I keep the plants in plastic pots for easier cleaning and so he can't uproot them). I also got a hermit crab climbing wall for a background. I think it's just tightly weaved coconut husk or something. It retains moisture well which helps with humidity and it looks nice.

75 degrees is a little cool during the day. From what I've read 80 degrees is better for during the day. I use a low wattage incandescent bulb to boost my temp up to 80. I have to mist more often during the day due to the bulb drying out the substrate though. My humidity during the day hovers around 60-70% and stays around 80% at night without the light on.

As far as feeding goes, from what I've learned in the month that I've had my pac, they will accept a variety of food. He eats wax worms, red wigglers and crickets. He prefers wax worms but they're high in fat so he only gets them once a week.

All I really know about vocalizations is that males and females both will bark and make small noises when agitated but only the males will croak. From what I've read on other user's posts, if you play a mating call clip from youtube their males will respond. You could try this.

Would you believe that all this info is stuff I've learned just in the past month from reading the forums and from having my frog just a month? This website is a wealth of knowledge

Right on do you put the wax worms in a bowl or just let em run about>?

I hand feed all of his food. I use tweezers to get the wax worms and the red wigglers in front of his face and wiggle them a little to get him to lunge. When I feed crickets I do it one at a time and herd them towards him. I don't usually leave food in there because I want to know exactly how much he's eating.
