Hi! I am new s sight. Last night I found 3 tiny (less than one inch) bright green frogs hanging on my screen. Being a kindergarten teacher I placed them into my "bug" box and gave them some grass, leaves and water and sprinkled some fish food in the container. I brought them to school today for the kids to observe. They kind of look like tree frogs. I've never seen them in my entire 20 years living here in central NJ. What are they and how do I care for them?

We would need pictures. But in the US we dont have that many tree frogs that are green.

For now till we get pics and an expert can give you help this is what you can do. If you have a 10 gallon aquarium put them in that with soil (you could probably use whats outside since you found them at your house) for subtrate. Put some branches in there and some plants to give them a hiding place and a bowl of declorinated water for them to sit in. Make sure you spray it to keep the humidity up.

When you get us some pics there will be experts to help.
