I've read that it takes about 60 days for gray tree frogs to meta-morph, so we're almost halfway there! They have all gotten so big! In fact, I think they've just about reached their maximum size, except for a few runts. On average, the tadpoles are 1 and a half inches long, including their tails. They tend to hang out near the surface now, occasionally gulping a bit of air. They still eat flake fish food with a passion. I have to change 50% of the water every other day to keep the tank from getting cloudy. What hard work these little things are! But it will all be worth it in the end.

I just went through the same thing with mine about 7 months ago. It was very hard. I had about 30 tads I found in my sisters pool that I put in a 10 gallon tank. took about 2 months to meta. Lost about 10 in the process due to some maturing early and finding an escape route and poor conditions on nights I worked. Will upload some pics of them now. New to site and raising so I'm super excited to learn some things.
