Great advice, friendly people, and lots of frogs!
Well I woke up and the eggs were comma shaped, very cute little embryos Won't be long before they hatch...
So the eggies have absorbed the white portions and r elongating slightly God only knows wat I'll feed to the tads, there are abt 3 dozen eggs which is enough for me at the moment
I've had my tank set up for about 3 weeks with 3 dumpy tree frogs. I noticed today that my largest one, Booger, has some clear liquid slowly oozing from his rear end. Is this something I should be worried about? I have tried researching on the internet to see what it could be, but couldn't find any answers. Can anyone help me?? Please and thank you
So I have 4 firebelly toads, screwup, spaz and tippy are the 3 males (screwup is brown, spaz is a spaz, and tippy used to tip to one side whilst swimming) and Moaper is the female (shes huge, fat and moaps about a lot) They hibernated from October to January and last evening tippy and Moaper were in amplexus and I woke up to many eggs, laid singly, stuck to stuff and surrounded by a double jelly layer They r white on one side and r now in a separate cage The wait begins...
Hi was just wanting to ask as im new to the green tree frog world,i brought drift wood from a pet store for the frogs and i placed straight into the tank, they seem to love it but i didnt bleed it...was that wrong or should ive bled it first as im worried it might make my frogs unwell...they seem fine and dandy and always sitting on it...i knw u need to when u place in fish tank as it turns water brown but did i need to for the frog's or will they be ok as i have it on there dry area not in the wet ...
