i have recently purchased 2 green tree frogs and am wondering if calcium supplement can be used at feeding time instead of a uv light bulb? i guess if i monitor the frogs for a while and check their behaviour? i know this is a point not many people can agree on...i have been told to worry about temperature and not the uv and have seen and heard that uv is needed to stop bone deformity and rickets but wouldnt the calcium supplement be better? i dont know....any ideas?
