"In The Mood" Music

Rate this Entry
The best way to spend a Friday night is to blast your favorite music loudly and to sing along. My boyfriend has a strong disdain for every type of music I like, so my time alone I genuinely treasure.

As I am singing along to All Time Low, I noticed that my New Mexico Spadefoot colony (the new ones. Only two of the seven have names...Doctor Wiggles and Lumpkin, should anyone care) started croaking along. I went to peer in their cage, and noticed that a couple of the males had their throats fully distended, awaiting a lucky lady so they could have a magical night.

I went back to my computer, just to hear them croaking again!

Tonight will be a loud, loud night. o.O But I can't complain, because nothing on earth makes me happier than spadefoots (not even pop punk!)

This wasn't the first time this has occurred. A few months ago before I moved, I was listening to Ellie Goulding and I noticed that The Impostor quite liked her songs and he croaked along to her songs. Different toads, different tastes!

Anybody else have stories of their frogs croaking along to their music?

My C. cranwelli seems to love dubstup and futurama, love his squeaky teen croaking. At first I was trying to get him to respond to a pacman frog croaking video on youtube, but I seem to get better results with the previous two, odd little frogs we have.

Okay, that has to be one of the best things to see ever. I have a Pacman frog and he makes really silly noises. Sometimes I think they like our music better than their own.

Well, I can't blame them for being tired of that one note pacman song hit.
