Looking real good! Can you share some details? What types of plants, age of setup and frogs, what size of tank, filtration, etc...

    Size tank: 60cm x 30cm x 30cm
Plants: Ceratophyllum demersum, Najas guadalupensis, Pistia stratiotes, Lemna minor, Lemna trisulca, and some kind of moss. Najas guadalupensis and Pistia stratiotes came out of my fish tank and all the other plants came out of my pond.
The filter is a fluval (internal), 13 years old but still working fine.
    No heater.
    Bottom: sand.
Decorations; stones and 1 piece of wood, planning to bye a coconut and saw it into 2 pieces and use it as a hidingplace for the frogs (2 wildtype females and 1 albino male).

Your tank looks so big, I can't believe it is just 15 gallons. Your frogs look happy in there too. How old are they and what are your temps usually sitting at?
I have been debating on removing the heater from my tank as I am worried that it will get knocked off of the wall and break. My tank is in my basement though and it stays consistantly cooler down there dispite my home renos.

I changed the setup once again.
This time I added a heater and al lot of Vallisneria and I removed the Ceratophyllum demersum.
Now I only need a coconutshell and then they have some nice hidingplaces.
The temperature is now 25°C but I plan to keep it at 22°C.

Still looks great. Your frogs must love all the hiding spots. Are you using any supplements for your plants?

Very nice setup. I really like clawed frogs and been keeping them for several years. I would love to have a place big enough for a really nice aquarium.

I donīt use anything in this tank. Their are some rusty nails in the sand put no dirt or something, I only use hardy plants like Vallisneria americana, Vallisneria neotropicalis, Anubias barterii, Anubias barterii varia nana, Microsorium pteropus and an other easy plant.
In my fishtank I also use no dirt or what so ever, only rust nails and now I also add some claypills or something but I donīt know if the plants are growing good just because of that. HET BIOTOOP AQUARIUM .::. Inloggen
