Help!! new owner, unexpected eggs!

Good move on removing the parents from the eggs - they will eat their own eggs, tadpoles, and young frogs.

Im sorry its taken so long to get back Im a busy college student (: I just looked again in my tank today and am realizing the eggs look like little c's? is that normal? or does it mean they are dead. Id really like to get my adult frogs back into their tank, (ive put them in a smaller thank because I didnt want to disturb the eggs). Im changing a little less than half the water a day because it gets really dirty. I really dont want to kill these eggs so I'm trying to do everything just right! Please let me know if the eggs are dead or if the c shape is normal? Also I changed my adult frogs water yesterday and upon looking into the tank I saw they were both stiff and at the bottom of the tank, I removed them and put them in very shallow water, they were slimy and did not blink or breathe is that normal as well? I thought they were dead I worked with them for about 15 minutes and they came back to life! sorry this is so long hope you can help!

In regard to your adults- What is the temperature in their current setup? Sounds like they are too cold. I wouldn't risk my adults to raise eggs. Of course I have no desire for the breeding thing. Perhaps you should let this batch go and try raising eggs in the future when you are prepared and have planned for it.

Ive taken the tank heater out of the eggs tank and put it in with my adult frogs and Ive set it to be around 70 and 75 degrees, this is what I was told when I was given them as a gift. Like I said also if these eggs have a chance I dont want to diminish that, yes it wasnt planned for but it was also not those little baby frogs fault that their parents were wrongly sexed. and Jenster, your website was so helpful thank you! i now know that my frog eggs are just continuing on their journey to be froglets!

do you have thermometers in your tanks? The eggs need to be kept around 78*F. The adults should be kept in the low 70s*F

What size tank are the adults in? Do you have a filter and is it cycled? (usually takes about 6-12 weeks...google the Nitrogen cycle in aquariums )
What do you feed the adults and do you have food ready for the tadpoles? The day after the hatch they will need to start feeding and they are filter feeders so you will probably want to start making the food now.

I feed my tads liquidised steamed spinach and have had very good mortality rates, once they morph frozen bloodworm/daphnia, live daphnia, mosquito larvae. These guys are pretty low maintenance to raise when compared to other amphibians, your biggest problem may be rehoming if you raise a large batch, start checking local petstores for customers.
