Current setup:
Under-gravel filter plate on the bottom with a gravel drainage layer and coco-coir/worm castings on top of that. I use an air-stone for the UG filter along with a submersible heater. The water level is usually maintained a bit lower than this, but I'm currently simulating a wet season.
