Cables? Parrots?? I can only guess at some of the stories you must have. Never a dull moment in your households I bet. Though I have gotten some strange looks from the neighbours as I have been on the phone for two days out on my deck trying to find captive bred cockroaches. Apparently it's more common to make a phone call to get rid of them!!

I'm not sure what the laws are but there are several online vendors here in the US. I think the species you want is Blaptica dubia.

Thanks for making me laugh, Kerry. I reread it and got the same impression. Just so everyone knows, I do not have cockroaches on my deck...but if I did, I wouldn't be having such a hard time trying to track some down so my frogs have a better menu!!

Yeah, they like to chew the **** out of anything they can get their beaks on, including telephone cords and electical wires. Never put anything in the reach of a parrot unless you want it destroyed.
