It is fine to use sprayed on the frogs meals but you also need to provide a calcium supplement also.

Try to provide the calcium at least two to three times a week and then the other days provide the vitamin supplement.

I completely forgot all about the spray on supplements
I find those much easier and less messy than powder. I think they make a calcium spray as well. I'm not sure if I under dust but I dust on Monday then on Friday. Monday calcium, Friday vitamins. Mostly due to to many people saying calcium a only a few times a month all the way to every other day so I just make it once a week for both. You just don't want to give them both in the same day.

I find it easier because I can use it every day
    without worrying about an overdose.
plus it has some calcium. It also burns the nightcrawlers
    so they twist like crazy
10 bucks a bottle, lasts me about 4 months, but I use it alot.
